Up

I am an Exmouth-based Reflexologist and Healer offering advice on Healthy Eating and Food and Mood alongside Reflexology and Healing treatments. Foot Massage and a short Indian Head Massage treatment (in combination with other therapies) are also available on request.  If you wish to have a combination of treatments please do ask me.

About Me

In 1998 I received my ITEC Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology & Body Massage and set up in practice as a massage therapist while I was still working as a finance officer at Devon County Council. I started out by helping work colleagues with tense neck and shoulders as a result of stress combined with heavy use of computers. I then went on to receive several other diplomas and certificates:

  • Reflexology - ITEC Diploma - 1999
  • Precision Reflexology - advanced training certificate - 2001
  • Advanced Precision Reflexology - advanced training certificate - 2003
  • Meridian Reflexology - advanced training certificate- 2006
  • Diet & Nutrition for Complementary Therapists - ITEC Diploma - 2001
  • Healing - Alliance of Healing Associations (Light Haven Centre) - Diploma - 2006
  • Indian Head Massage - ITEC Diploma - 2004
  • Foundation Kinesiology Certificate - 2002
  • City and Guilds 7407 Certificate in Further Education Teaching - 2004

Every year I update my knowledge with CPD courses and private reading and study as required by my professional organisation. I am registered with, and fully insured through, Embody's Complementary Therapists Association (CThA).

My back-up knowledge of Kinesiology, Indian Head Massage and Body Massage alongside my main therapies enable me to give you many self-help tips and techniques for self-care between treatments. I believe I can offer you a truly holistic approach to complementary healthcare.

Who do I treat?

I welcome all enquiries and am particularly interested in welcoming those of you who suffer from Fibromyalgia, M E or MS - as well as clients with Menopausal problems, PMS, PCOS,  infertility and other hormonal imbalance problems. Stress, anxiety, mild to moderate depression, different forms of arthritis and other painful conditions, such as low back pain and sciatica, respond well to Reflexology treatments.

I have also used Reflexology with several clients who are trying to conceive as well as to assist women in the birth of overdue babies. Reflexology can be used throughout pregnancy (after the first 12 weeks) to help you deal with all of the physical and emotional changes taking place at this time. Many new mothers also choose Reflexology to help their bodies regain hormonal balance after the birth of their child. Why not give it a try?

Voluntary Work

My practice is based in Exmouth in East Devon, and I also volunteer every so often at The Quiet Mind Centre, Exmouth, offering Reflexology and Healing to those on benefits and low incomes who would not normally be able to afford access to treatment.                                                                                                                                                                                                         Top
